The WPT cable tensioner is used as tensioning equipment where steel cables are used for rock reinforcement in mines, tunnels, etc. The tool has a maximum pre-tensioning tensile force of 20 kN (2 tonnes), but can be supplied with a limited tensile force on request.

The WPT cable tensioner is used as tensioning equipment where steel cables are used for rock reinforcement in mines, tunnels, etc. The tool has a maximum pre-tensioning tensile force of 20 kN (2 tonnes), but can be supplied with a limited tensile force on request.
Thanks to its low weight, easy handling and fast cycle time, the tool is ideal for frequent use.

WPT wire tensioner comes complete with jaws for wire diameter 15 - 17 mm. At the rear there is a counter-holding adapter for 15.2 mm wire/wire anchor with counter-holding washer. The tool is supplied with swivel coupling ASE10.
The WPT cable tensioner can be easily adapted to similar applications on request - according to your needs and wishes.
For a complete system, add one of our hydraulic pumps.
