REHOBOT acquires Rotex i Göteborg AB

REHOBOT AB has signed an agreement to acquire all shares in ROTEX i Göteborg AB. Since its inception in 1947, ROTEX has supplied the industry with automatically turned mechanical components.

ROTEX's expertise is unique and the company has a capacity of over 200 million manufactured parts per year. Production takes place in automatic lathes of its own design, which ensures the high quality of the components and their high availability. In 2012, the business had a turnover of SEK 11 million and the company currently has eight employees.

- "As with previous acquisitions, this is part of REHOBOT's overall growth strategy and means that we are strengthening our offering. The experience and product mix of ROTEX is an important contribution to our ambition to provide high-quality components and systems for the industry," says Kjell-Roger Holmström, President and CEO of REHOBOT AB.

REHOBOT is a successful Swedish company that mainly develops, produces and markets products & systems based on hydraulics. The company's products are often used for service & maintenance in demanding environments. The product range includes hydraulic pumps, cylinders, jacks and rescue equipment. The business is divided into three main business areas where the products and customers are located:

  • Car motive
  • Industry
  • Rescue

- The search for the right acquisition candidate has been extensive and we are therefore convinced that REHOBOT is just right for ROTEX. The deal is a success for us and for our customers, as the new owner intends to drive the business forward. The change in ownership also means that new opportunities open up, while our long experience remains within the company, explains Hans Anderson, site manager at ROTEX.

- Our existing and new customers, employees and business partners will be able to feel confident that REHOBOT is now taking over. ROTEX is a well-managed company with a stable organisation.

The company's committed employees are our guarantee for being able to continue the business," concludes Kjell-Roger Holmström, CEO of REHOBOT.
